About
Hey there! I’m Annie, a Chicago-based video editor and creative. I currently have the privilege of working full time at Harbor Picture Company and taking on freelance projects as much as possible. My time in video has taken me across every stage of production, and the deeper I dove, the more I was drawn to the edit, where all the pieces finally come together into a story.
I’ve worked on all kinds of projects, from commercials to social to long-form, and I’ve had the chance to create work for some incredible brands, including the Chicago Blackhawks and Cubs, Cadillac, Toyota, Wilson Baseball, Garnier, Svedka, Anheuser-Busch and many more. Whatever the content, my favorite pieces to edit are fast-paced and audio-driven, where rhythm, sound and style all have to land together.
Across my career, my colleagues and peers have consistently championed my creative instinct and the choices I make that help a piece feel like itself. I’m proud to have held onto that as I’ve grown and developed, and to now have the craft and technical skill to back it up, delivering polished, finished work every time.
Before I found editing, I found the outdoors. I grew up just twenty minutes from the Appalachian Trail and have been chasing bigger mountains ever since. Day hikes became national park trips, which became hut-to-hut treks across the Alps and the Accursed Mountains. Along the way, running turned into trekking, and trekking turned into climbing whenever and wherever I can. Since I was old enough to hold a camera, I’ve been trying to capture the things that make me happy, and photography has shown me that my greatest inspiration comes from getting somewhere remote and really taking in the scale of the natural world. When I’m deep in nature, I get to feel small in the very best way. The stories I’d most love to tell are the ones that come from places like that.
When I’m not making something, I’m probably at the climbing gym, or hanging out with my cats and catching up on some good TV. Reach out! I’d love to make something together :)
